Error code PF: Power failure
This is probably the most common code you’ll come across. The PF stands for power failure, which means that the dishwasher’s power supply has been interrupted during the cycle. This could be due to a power surge or power outage, the circuit breaker tripping, or even due to the power cord being bumped.
If you’re seeing the error, obviously power has been returned to your dishwasher, or the display wouldn’t be working! To clear the code, try opening and closing your dishwasher to clear the error code, then use it as normal. If this code keeps recurring, it could indicate a voltage issue that you will need a professional to look at.
Error code HO: Heat delay or low water temperature
This code means your dishwasher is taking longer than it should to reach the necessary temperature. Make sure the water heater is set to the correct temperature, and check to ensure the hot water in your house is working correctly.
Error code LO: Low rinse aid
This code means that the rinse aid in your dispenser is running low. To clear the error, all you have to do is refill the dispenser!
Error code i10: Abnormally low water level
This error usually indicates a problem with the water supply line. It could indicate a leak, so check to see if water is pooling underneath your dishwasher. It’s also a good idea to check if the supply line is properly turned on and to check for any kinks.
Error codes i20, i40, iFo: Drain line restricted
These error codes all relate to drainage issues. It could mean the drain hose is kinked or clogged, or the dishwasher’s filter is blocked and restricting water flow. Clearing blockages should resolve this error.
Error code i30: Leak in bottom pan
This means that water has been detected in the bottom pan, indicating a leak. Check for pooling water and around the hose connections to make sure water isn’t escaping.
Error code i50: Drain or wash motor failure
This issue means that either the drain or wash motor is not working properly, which means water can’t circulate and drain correctly. Blockages in the system can cause this, but you may need to call in a professional.
Error code iCo: Electronic control system failure
This indicates a serious issue with the electronic system. Try a hard reset: unplug your Frigidaire dishwasher for five minutes and then plug it back in. If this doesn’t solve it, you may need to call in a professional.
Error code UO: Vent open
This means that the vent is not properly closed. Check the vent assembly to ensure it’s working correctly, or seek professional help.

Error code CL: Close door or door switch open
This can mean that the door is not closed properly, or that there’s an issue with the door switch assembly.
Error code dP: Drain pump activated (relay test)
This code will only show up during diagnostic testing, indicating an issue with the drain pump.
Error code FL: Water valve open (relay test)
This code will also only show up during diagnostic testing, meaning the water valve is not closed properly.
Error code Hs: Hall sensor error
This indicates an issue with the hall sensor, which may affect the motor.
Error code rA: Rinse aid reed switch failure
This error means that the reed switch in the rinse aid dispenser isn’t working. Your dispenser may need to be replaced.
Error code Rt: Relay/triac test
This code will only show up during testing, meaning the dishwasher has been placed into test mode. If this happens accidentally, try a hard reset to clear it.
Error code Tu: Turbidity sensor failure
This code means that the turbidity sensor has failed. The turbidity sensor is used to monitor water clarity in your dishwasher to ensure the dishes are properly cleaned. If this happens, you may need to replace the sensor.
Error code i60: Water heating system problem
This suggests an issue with your dishwasher’s water heating system. There may be an issue with the heating element or even the control board. In most cases, this issue will require professional assistance to resolve.
Error code UL: UL test activated
Another code that appears during testing. If you didn’t activate this code on purpose, try a hard reset to fix the issue.
