# What if the part is damaged in shipping?

## Insure your package for shipping to protect against damage. Choose our label for us to handle claims or use your own label and contact the carrier if needed. Insuring your shipment is crucial for item protection during transit.

If your part arrives damaged, we highly recommend insuring your package for shipping to and from us to protect against such incidents.

During checkout, you can choose to insure your package with our option or use your own shipping label. If you use our shipping label and your package is damaged, we'll handle contacting the carrier and filing a claim for you.

If you use your own label, you will need to contact the carrier directly to file a claim. Insuring your shipment is a crucial step to ensure your items are protected during transit.
