# Treadmill Incline Won’t Move

**Answer**: If the lift motor only clicks, the board’s H-bridge is cooked. UpFix installs new drivers, verifies full 15° travel, and backs the work with a warranty.

**Quick take:** If you hear a click but the deck never lifts, the incline H‑bridge on the control board is fried.

### DIY triage

1. Disconnect the incline motor lead; use a 12 V battery to test it both directions.
2. If the motor runs off‑board, the MCB is at fault.

### UpFix fix

- Replace both high‑side and low‑side drivers
- Add fly‑back diodes rated for 10 A
- Cycle test full +15° to –3° slope 50 times

### Keep it healthy

Avoid stepping on the deck while it’s rising, extra load jacks current and cooks drivers.
